Dr. Gary D. Williams, Sr. is a respected expert and thought leader in the field of Child Welfare, bringing over 30 years of leadership experience. He holds a Master of Science in Social Work and a Doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT).

Dr. Williams is the President and Founder of Johanna’s Educational and Counseling Center, which specializes in couples counseling and coaching. In his practice, he employs an integrated approach that bridges spirituality and social science—offering clients a comprehensive understanding of human behavior, personal development, and relational dynamics. This approach enhances self-awareness, promotes healthy relationships, and empowers individuals and couples to reach their full potential.

Grounded in a systemic and strength-based framework, Dr. Williams tailors his methods to each couple’s unique needs. He specializes in the Gottman Method of Couples Therapy, drawing on interventions from the Sound Relationship House theory—backed by more than 30 years of evidence-based research.
